个人简历
1985年毕业于四川大学,获得理学学士学位;
1991年毕业于中国科学院大学,获得理学硕士学位;
1995年毕业于德国柏林自由大学,获得理学博士学位;
1999-2000年作为洪堡学者在德国从事博士后研究;分别于2001年和2003年在新西兰奥塔哥大学和瑞士巴塞尔大学做高级访问学者;
1998-2023,曾任中国科学院成都生物研究所生态研究中心主任、院重点实验室主任、常务副所长、所长;
2011-2018年任国际山地综合发展中心(ICIMOD)生态系统服务领域主任、首席科学家。
研究方向
生物多样性保护、生态系统服务、高山生态学、草地与湿地生态学、恢复生态学、乡村景观与可持续发展.
社会任职
现任联合国生物多样性与生态系统服务政府间组织(IPBES)多学科专家委员会(MEP)委员,国际山地综合发展中心(尼泊尔)独立理事,中华人民共和国濒危物种科学委员会委员,四川省委省政府决策咨询委员会委员,《应用与环境生物学报》主编等职。
